Drones

Operating drones is not illegal; however, users are restricted from repeatedly flying them in close proximity to residential addresses and doing this could lead to them being dealt with for Anti-Social behaviour or committing a S.4a/S.5 Public Order Act offence.

If you are concerned that a drone appears as though it is being used in suspicious circumstances e.g. if it continuously hovers over a particular area, please contact the Police on 101.

  Public Access Defibrillator

Defibrillator Located at entrance to Memorial Hall

War Memorials attract considerable public interest and ours, being one of the more unusual Cross type of Memorial and being made of timber is in a small group of about 200 in England. It commemorates those in the Services who died fighting during both the First and Second World Wars, it is also close to the Church of St Stephen, also Listed Grade II.

The Memorial was re-pointed and the lettering re-engraved and painted for the Remembrance Service of 2014, this made the Memorial far more legible.

Over the years a considerable amount of research has been undertaken on individuals mentioned on the Memorial and we are happy to share this appropriately.

I do hope this means that more people will visit Sparsholt, not only to see our Graded Buildings, but also to spend time in the Countryside and to enjoy all that the Parish has to offer.
